The Backstory | Gerber's team of snack experts wanted to redesign their snack line while thinking about the developmental and nutritional needs of their consumers from crawlers to toddlers.

The Result | Fusion Innovation Group led a 3-Day Design Sprint Workshop to foster ideas and fast-track results. Bench-marking, focus groups and initial research was completed ahead of time to increase the effectiveness of the workshop. R&D, manufacturing, sales, distribution and executive leadership worked side-by-side with designers to explore  and validate new ideas. At the end of the workshop, five new concepts, complete with CAD drawings, where presented, which saved years of design time and millions in R&D cost.

The Backstory | The AHA relies on fundraising and grants in order to continue their work. The executive staff is responsible for a regional territory of clinical and non-clinical staff and volunteers.

The Result | Fusion Innovation Group advised and consulted with various AHA Executive Directors that represented local affiliates to proactively promote the American Heart Association's science news, programs, products and services. Additionally, Fusion led on-site training sessions for doctors, medical specialists, volunteer leadership, senior management, external organizations, and corporate sponsors that increased the public's understanding of the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases resulting in a 65% increase in giving.

The Backstory | Rapid Green Group is a shredding and recycling conglomerate with offices across the Mid-West. Part of their growth structure is through acquisition.

The Result | Fusion Innovation Group worked with RGG as they transitioned into a regional shredding and recycling organization. Using various Design Thinking techniques, a new brand was developed for each entity complete with logo, messaging, color identification, and signage re-design and installation. Additionally as new entities were added to the portfolio, training and employee on-boarding was led by the Fusion team. This resulted in a clear understanding of the new company culture, while respecting and maintaining the legacy culture and company norms.

The Backstory | LA Miller is a high-end boutique that specializes in trendy fashion items at an affordable price both online and through their e-Commerce site.

The Result | Fusion Innovation Group worked with LA Miller from the very beginning, leading them through several Design Thinking sessions to help determine a go-to-market strategy for their e-commerce site, as well as, to develop their logo and brand voice. Once the site was live and generating revenue, Fusion helped LA Miller with signage and aesthetic consulting for the retail store.
